Two soil types contribute to the aromatic complexity, finesse and elegance of this cuvée: the marly-limestone soils of the Gargasian, at the foot of the cliff, rich in fossils, provide the vines with a water supply throughout the summer despite the absence of summer rainfall; and the red Mediterranean soils of the Barremian, formed on compact blue-grey limestone reclaimed from the garrigue, allow the production of rich and concentrated wines.
