The oceanic influence provides a cooler climate and preserves the aromas of Sauvignon, which are sensitive to intense heat. Together with Gérard Bertrand, we saw the opportunity and potential to create this exceptional cuvée. The technical choices, in particular avoiding leaf-stripping to keep the grapes protected from the sun, as well as the choice of biodynamic practices, allow this great Sauvignon to fully express both the grape variety, the terroir, and an exceptional minerality and freshness.
