To produce the best wine in the world , to receive the rewards for the hours of work. This is what every winemaker wants to achieve. Only a few chosen ones will succeed in making it through to produce more than just a good wine , but actually produce the best wine in the world .

Each year, the counter is reset. To award this title, several major international competitions such as the International Wine Challenge , the Decanter World Wine Awards , the Wines Spectator or the Robert Parker undertake this difficult task. The wine by color section is observed from all angles, then smelled and finally tasted to reveal all its aromas. Only one wine per color is retained, then comes the second tasting, where the best wine of all colors combined is chosen.

The best wine in the world at Gérard Bertrand
