The Bertrand family
One group, four values
The practice of biodynamics is a strategic priority for the Gérard Bertrand Group: all of the Estates are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
Gérard Bertrand's commitment as a winemaker
Excellence
Excellence shared with a quality team, dedicated to this quest and to the achievement of high objectives.
Producing great wines requires patience, maturity , a lot of rigor but also sharing the same vision with your team. It also takes a good dose of intuition to reveal the soul of the terroir . Mastering the different stages, from harvesting to bottling , including vinification and aging : not being afraid of the "Thousand and One Details" that lead to Excellence.
Innovation
Be a trendsetter
A key word for the Gérard Bertrand group, which sets trends through unique, gourmet wines and bottles with a sought-after design. The production includes quality wines, organic wines and/or wines without sulfites , or even from biodynamic agriculture , for all types of consumers as illustrated by the Autrement , Naturae , Prima Nature ranges. Innovation also comes through bottles with an innovative design, of great beauty, like that of the Côte des Roses range or Art de Vivre with its ceramic bottles ideal for decoration.
Being a trendsetter is part of the Gérard Bertrand brand's DNA in order to offer wines and brands capable of meeting the different expectations of consumers around the world.

Naturalness
A strong commitment to biodiversity
"Preserving the environment sustainably, restoring harmony and balance to ecosystems, promoting the precision of winegrowers' gestures, reaching out to future generations - these are the challenges of today and these will be the obligations of tomorrow," Gérard Bertrand likes to point out.
The group continues its commitment to a sustainable development policy, reaching an important milestone by carrying out a carbon footprint assessment. This proactive policy responds to growing consumer expectations as well as the global need to reduce the harmful effects of greenhouse gases on the climate. Furthermore, Gérard Bertrand is participating with photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, founder of the Good Planet Foundation, in the "Objective 10,000 Trees" agroforestry project in Languedoc-Roussillon.
Friendliness
Revealing the Art of Living and the heritage of the region also involves emotion.
The emotion of a glass shared between friends, of communion to the rhythm of music or the discovery of local products. The Château l'Hospitalet Wine Resort Beach & Spa , the group's headquarters and an exceptional location, is entirely dedicated to the Mediterranean Art of Living: a setting for parties, dinners, and friendly gatherings for wine lovers .
A true symbol, the Jazz Festival has been welcoming the greatest French and international artists for over 20 years to light up the starry nights of L' Hospitalet and contribute to the growth of local culture and tourism.

Jazz is to music what terroir is to wine.
During 5 days of celebration , the courtyard of the estate offers a unique and intimate setting for concerts welcoming nearly 1,500 spectators per evening.
Every Friday , throughout the year, jazz groups take turns performing dinner concerts with food, wine and jazz pairings . Since its creation, the artists have been selected by Gérard Bertrand in collaboration with Dominique Rieux (Big Band Brass).
In September, the Harvest Weekend and the Pruning and Truffle Festival in December are two unmissable events for sharing moments of great conviviality around wine.
Conviviality is also the exceptional experience of a 5* Wine Resort Hotel, a rotisserie, a beach establishment and a gourmet restaurant in the heart of a working wine estate...a journey of discovery of the wonders of the region.
