Prima Nature Syrah 2024 75cl Sulfite free vegan organic rosé wine

Prima Nature is a range of organic wines without added sulfites that offers particularly pure, generous and gourmet aromas. Each vintage, whose composition is reduced to the essentials, expresses the character and taste of the fruit and the terroir. This wine is born from the know-how of Gérard Bertrand and his oenologists, who have unique expertise in sulfite-free winemaking. The wines are grown according to organic standards, which requires high quality grapes. Prima Nature is also a vegan range for consumers concerned about respecting animals. Intense and fruity, Prima Nature will provide you with a unique experience of the grape variety while respecting the environment.

The work begins in the vineyard with a precise and meticulous selection of the plots most suited to producing this type of wine (90% of the final result comes from this precision work): the health status must be perfect, the foliage must be healthy, fresh and dense, the grapes must have an optimal level of maturity. Indeed, the harvest window is very short as the acid/sugar balance is essential for this category of wine. The vinification is precise and very precise given the fact that we do not use sulfur or oenological inputs at any time during the vinification or bottling. Upon receipt, the grapes are immediately cooled to 8°C and pressed, taking care to remove the press juices. The juices are cold settled to promote natural clarification of the musts and elimination of oxidizable compounds by precipitation. Alcoholic fermentation is quickly launched at fermentation temperatures regulated between 17 and 18°C. At the end of fermentation, the wine is racked so as to keep some fine lees which will be the antioxidant base of the wines during their aging before bottling. The latter occurs quite early in the year to preserve the unique aromatic expression of this wine and to conserve all its qualities over time.
