The Bertrand family

Let's celebrate together international pinot noir day!
Pinot Noir, one of the most popular grape varieties in the world, and it is no surprise, for hidden in its soul are aromas of red fruits, flowers and spices accentuated by a long, elegant finish when
the respectful winemaker reveals its true nature.
Gérard Bertrand looked to the heavens and found the oldest Pinot Noir vines in Occitania in the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, overlooking the village of Roquetaillade and gazing at the horizon like the Cathar citadels.
On a high-altitude terroir where the freshness of the climate gives wings to the wines, the cuvée Domaine de l'Aigle Pinot Noir 2017 reveals itself; tender, fruity and finely spiced & L'Aigle Royal Pinot Noir 2017; bewitching, pure and seductive.
Both cuvées have been cultivated using biodynamics since 2014.
Best enjoyed at 12–14°C with grilled red meats, roasted poultry, grilled or sauced fish and aged cheeses.
