Clairette du Languedoc Adissan

Clairette du Languedoc Adissan

Atisus is the fruit of a partnership with the winemakers of the Adissan cooperative, a story of people who pass down from generation to generation the history, quality and authenticity of this appellation and the cultivation of the Clairette d'Adissan.

The Clairette d'Adissan, 2,000 years old, is considered the oldest indigenous grape variety of the Languedoc (dating from the first century BCE).

At the foot of the Pic de Vissou, 30 km from the sea, the appellation benefits from a hot and dry Mediterranean climate in summer. The predominance of the north wind is tempered by the first foothills of the Cévennes.

"Atisus" is a tribute to the history of the village of Adissan, and more specifically to an important Roman villa located to the south of the village that gave it its name.

Clairette du Languedoc Adissan
• TASTING NOTES •

Beautiful golden yellow colour. Pleasant, delicate and complex nose with notes of white-fleshed fruit, dried fruits (hazelnuts…), honey and white flowers. The overall balance is subtle, with a palate that reveals roundness and smoothness. The finish remains very long and harmonious.

• FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS •

Serve at 10–12°C, as an aperitif or with lightly spiced dishes. A vegetarian paella or blue-veined cheeses will be perfect accompaniments. It also pairs ideally with lightly spiced exotic cuisine.
