Le Chouchou reflects new drinking trends: a soft, light and fresh wine. With its low alcohol content and best enjoyed chilled, it offers a bright, fruit-forward expression reminiscent of a basket of red berries.

Made from grapes grown in the high-altitude terroirs of the Cévennes and the Pyrénées-Orientales, Le Chouchou is a light red certified organic under the French AB scheme, created for contemporary drinking. The cool climate and preserved ripeness of Grenache, the predominant grape in the blend, produce a supple, delicate wine with red fruit aromas and a silky texture, ideal for sharing with friends.

Winemaking

• Grapes from high-altitude terroirs in the Cévennes and from the Pyrénées-Orientales.
• Harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness.
• Predominantly Grenache, macerated for one day to extract colour and aromas without excessive tannins.
• Fermentation at a controlled temperature.
• Malolactic fermentation followed by 3 months’ ageing in tanks.
