Grape varieties used in Languedoc rosé wine

Grenache Noir features in most of the winery’s rosés. It is blended with Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre, and less often with Carignan (Domaine de Villemajou) or Viognier (Clos du Temple). Gris Blanc combines Grenache Gris and Grenache Noir. The sparkling wines use Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Our environmentally friendly “Act For the Planet” rosé wines

Highly committed to the environment, we offer several ranges of organic and biodynamic wines that respect the planet.

Gold & Azure Rosé bearing the “Bee Friendly”. It highlights producers whose positive environmental farming practices respect and integrate bees and pollinators into their crops.

Prima Nature Grenache and Syrah rosé, a range of organic wines no added sulphites whose composition is pared back to the essentials. It expresses the character and flavour of the fruit and the terroir.

Autrement Grenache rosé, Syrah rosé and Languedoc rosé: before anything else, Autrement must be a premium wine that meets the same exacting quality standards as all wines bearing the Gérard Bertrand name. In this range, the commitment to the environment is reflected in the AB certification by Ecocert, a leading consumer label in France, as well as environmentally friendly packaging (recycled paper label, unbleached cardboard, natural Procork cork).
