Wine description
Before being an organic wine, Autrement must first be a premium wine that meets the high quality standards common to all wines signed by Gérard Bertrand. The consistency of quality is ensured by blending grapes from different terroirs. Gérard Bertrand's commitment to the environment is reflected in this range through AB certification by Ecocert, the benchmark label for consumers in France (85% brand awareness in France), as well as through environmentally responsible packaging (recycled paper label, raw cardboard, natural Procork stopper). This range is part of a sustainable development policy focused on preserving viticultural landscapes and developing farming that respects the environment and biodiversity. From passionate ecology advocates to health-conscious consumers, through to wine lovers and gastronomes in search of new sensations, all find an answer to their expectations in the Autrement cuvées.

Best enjoyed at 16°C with grilled meats, game or
poultry, as well as aged cheeses or blue-veined
cheeses.
Winemaking and ageing
The berries are harvested at ripeness and by hand. They are separated from the stalks (destemming) before being placed in vats for a traditional maceration of 10 to 15 days. The frequency of pump-overs is determined according to regular tastings of the musts, the aim being to extract the best from the grapes. Malolactic fermentation is carried out. This wine is aged in vat for a few months to promote freshness and fruitiness.
Tasting note
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful
dense robe with light violet hints. The nose reveals
fruity aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and plum,
accompanied by spiced notes, peppery spices
and aromatic plants from the garrigue. With
a supple and aromatic attack, it is round on
the palate. Intensely fruity and subtly spiced, the
palate is in harmony with the notes revealed on
the nose. Endowed with a smooth and elegant structure and
quality tannins, it offers a perfect balance and a
beautiful length on the palate.

Although all orders are dispatched within 24 hours, this may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
We offer the following delivery options:
- Collection point delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch
- Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
- Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
- Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transactions are fully secure.
We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be prepared upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
