Wine description
One of the first and largest estates cultivated in biodynamics in France. A unique blend of 7 grape varieties offering a premium wine with an impressive balance between ripe fruit, spices and a beautiful acidity. A flagship reference for French wines on Air France. The estate is certified AB (organic wine) and DEMETER (biodynamic farming). Official wine of the Nobel Prize banquet 2018. Cigalus Rouge 2019 Magnum is a highly awarded wine for its unique qualities that you can savour on a special occasion or simply for pleasure.

Best enjoyed at 16°C with roasted red meats,
poultry in sauce or aged cheeses.
Winemaking and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted, and then vatted separately. The Syrah and Carignan are vatted as whole bunches and vinified by whole-bunch maceration, with a vatting period of around 15 days. The other grape varieties are 100% destemmed and vinified by traditional maceration for approximately 3 weeks. The wines are placed in new 225L barrels for a minimum of 1 year of ageing. A selection of coopers is made in order to adapt the choice of wood origins as well as the type of toasting to each vintage. The grape varieties are vinified and aged separately until the final blend, which takes place just before bottling.
Tasting note
Intense ruby colour with a mahogany hue. The bouquet
is concentrated, with very ripe black fruits, toasted spices and
grilled oak. The palate is lush and opulent with velvety tannins.
Aromas of black fruits — blackberries, black cherries and
plums — reappear with a complex empyreumatic character
leading to mint. The finish is long with a
perfect balance.

Although all orders are dispatched within 24h, this may take up to 48h in some cases.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 of order.
