Cote des Roses Sauvignon Blanc 2023 Lot 6 Bottles 75cl

This cuvée Cote des Roses celebrates the Art de Vivre Méditerranéen. The soil, highly varied, consists mainly of hard limestone from the garrigue, schist soils but also gravel brought by the rivers of the Languedoc. The climate, warm and windy ("semi-arid Mediterranean climate with a mild winter variant") promotes the ripening of the grapes and their good health, while retaining freshness thanks to the altitude and the effect of the sea, which tempers the high summer temperatures. Its bottle features a unique rose-shaped base, created by a young designer from the École Boulle. It is a wine that gives itself like a bouquet of roses!

To achieve the intensity that characterises this grape variety, the Sauvignon must be picked at a precise moment. The grapes are tasted before harvest and then gathered at night to preserve the freshness of the fruit before being delicately pressed upon arrival at the winery. For approximately 5 months, around 10% of the wine is vinified in French barrels, while the remainder is kept in temperature-controlled tanks at low temperature to preserve the richness and freshness of the aromas. Finally, after a light fining, bottling takes place relatively early in order to preserve the fresh and fruity character of the wines.
