Wine description
Located in the Corbières, Domaine de Villemajou holds a special place for Gérard Bertrand.
This family estate was purchased in 1970 by his father, Georges Bertrand.
The exceptional soil allows deep rooting, protecting the vineyard from Mediterranean climatic extremes (water stress, violent storms).
The vines are now cultivated organically and biodynamically (certification in 3 years)

Harmonious and complex, expressive and subtle, this
wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or at the table with
fish, white meats in sauce or
cheese.
Winemaking and ageing
The vines receive constant care to preserve the health of the grapes. At the end of July, green harvesting is carried out to allow for homogeneous maceration and to guarantee the aromatic expression of each grape variety.
The grapes are placed in the pneumatic press as soon as they arrive at the winery. Settling is carried out after 48 hours of cold resting. Fermentation takes place under temperature control in barrels. Lees stirring is carried out systematically; ageing lasts 4 months.
Tasting note
A bright and clear lemon yellow colour with
a few green hints. Complex nose with toasted
notes, citrus, lemon and orange peel,
infusion, verbena…
Lively attack on the palate, ample and full, rich,
generous and delicately oaked on the finish.

Although all orders are dispatched within 24 hours, this may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
We offer the following delivery options:
- Collection point delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch
- Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
- Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
- Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transactions are fully secure.
We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be prepared upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
