- Gérard Bertrand reveals the history of the great terroirs of southern France.
- 1130 pays tribute to the first fortification of the city of Carcassonne, a medieval jewel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- The vineyard benefits from oceanic influences that bring a beautiful freshness to the wine, as well as Mediterranean influences that provide ripeness and beautiful fruity aromas.

Vinification et élevage
Harvesting takes place when the grapes reach optimal ripeness. The grapes are destemmed upon arrival at the cellar and then vinified in the traditional manner. Daily pump-overs allow for gentle extraction. Maceration lasts around twenty days with precise temperature control. After pressing, the wine rests in tank for malolactic fermentation before being aged in barrels.

The robe is a beautiful deep purple red. The nose reveals a generous and complex bouquet of blackberry jam and sweet mentholated spices. The palate is rich and fresh, offering beautiful flavours of dark fruits and spices with a long finish.
