Wine description
990 evokes the the age of the feudal lords and the citadel of Fitou, which long marked the border between the Kingdom of France and that of Aragon. Since for over a thousand years the vineyard is ideally situated between sea and mountain on a terroir of limestone and schists.

Winemaking and ageing
Harvest is triggered after very precise monitoring of ripeness and daily tasting of the berries. Picking is done by hand and the grapes are meticulously sorted as soon as they arrive at the winery. The 2 grape varieties are vinified separately, allowing the best to be drawn from the potential of each variety. The Carignan is vinified by carbonic maceration lasting 10 to 15 days, and a traditional maceration is carried out (with full destemming) for the Grenache. Part of the wine is aged in barrels for a period of 12 months.
Tasting note
The colour is a beautiful garnet.
The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit,
spices, toasted notes and blackcurrant
bud.
The tannins are soft with a
velvety texture. The balance is perfect.

Although all orders are dispatched within 24 hours, this may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
We offer the following delivery options:
- Collection point delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch
- Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
- Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
- Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transactions are fully secure.
We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be prepared upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
