• The 3-hectare Hospitalitas plot sits at the heart of the vineyard at the foot of a 30-metre cliff that protects it from the north wind, facing the sea

The Hospitalitas plot housed a shelter for pilgrims during the Middle Ages, protected from the wind and the rays of the summer sun by a cliff that also marks the contact zone between two terroirs of white limestone and red marl soils. The building that served as a refuge is no longer there, but the vines today benefit from the magical combe, and the plot illustrates all the better the motto "sine vino, vana Hospitalitas".

The protection that the cliff offers the vines makes Hospitalitas, bordered by a truffle grove, a mulberry field and an olive grove, a true jewel case for Syrah in its full majesty. It expresses itself here differently from anywhere else, with accents of pepper and small dark fruits, an extra freshness in a thoroughly Mediterranean expression. Between history and culture, Hospitalitas embodies everything that elevates the art de vivre of the wines of the South.
