Héritage 1189 – Pic Saint Loup pays tribute to the great terroirs of southern France. Shaped by the foothills of Pic Saint-Loup and a climate of contrasts, this wine stands out for its freshness, aromatic depth and elegant expression of its Mediterranean grape varieties.

This wine follows in the tradition of Languedoc’s great terroirs and tells the legend of the three knights Guiral, Alban and Loup, which has become emblematic of Pic Saint-Loup. The climate, tempered by the surrounding hills, and the selection of individual vineyard plots bring structure, finesse and an aromatic profile marked by red fruit, gentle spices and garrigue herbs.

Winemaking

• Selection of the best-suited vineyard plots.
• Predominantly hand-harvested.
• Sorted twice, in the vineyard and at the winery.
• Traditional winemaking with destemmed grapes.
• Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks.
• Pressing followed by malolactic fermentation.
• One-third of the wine aged for 9 months in barrels, the rest in tanks.
