Tasting note
Tasting notes for the cuvées in the gift set (22 of the 24 wines have a product sheet with the exact vintage tasting note; not available for Domaine de l'Aigle Pinot Noir 2024 and Domaine de l'Aigle Chardonnay 2024):
La Grande Bleue 2025: A pale yellow colour with subtle green highlights.
The nose is expressive, revealing aromas of white-fleshed fruit (pear, peach) along with citrus notes (lemon, grapefruit), complemented by delicate floral touches (white flowers, hawthorn). Viognier brings a subtle exotic touch to this blend.
The palate is lively and refreshing, distinguished by a lovely minerality recalling the sea's influence. The attack is round and fruity with notes of peach, pear and a hint of citrus. The finish is long, saline and elegant, evoking sea spray.
Héritage An 1152 (Cahors) 2023: A dark colour with purplish highlights. An intense nose with aromas of dark fruit and violet. Structured with silky tannins, this cuvée is characterised by a lovely roundness as well as a finish featuring notes of blackcurrant and liquorice.
